Mid-term evaluation conducted

18 October, 2010

- I experienced the meeting as constructive and helpful, and many of the comments during and after the evaluation suggest that this is a shared opinion. The panel had a very good understanding of the center, and primarily addressed the strategic aspects of the project. We had many good discussions that have already given us clear advice and guidance for further work, said Strandhagen after the evaluation. - Both the panel and the Research Council's representatives were positive in their verbal comments on departure, but we must of course wait until the written report and evaluation is completed before we can conclude. strandhagen.jpg

The further process is briefly as follows:

• The panel presents a written report by the end of next week
• SFI Norman have an opportunity to correct any factual errors
• A final report will be ready in November
• The research Council of Norway will take its decision in early December

- We will continue our process of planning the Norman program for the next four years in a firm belief that we get the green light to continue, and with the views from the panel in mind, says the research director.
